Feel good music, conscious lyrics and sounds for the new generation…. That’s what stryt prychar is all about.
These are
the words coming from a fresh, promising, talented and proudly Nigerian gospel
hip hop artiste who believes that his music has a message for the society. His
name is Ossai Victor, but simply known as ‘stryt prychar’ (pronounced as street
preacher). He is a rapper with a vision of using music as a viable tool to
deliver good tidings to his generation and to bring them closer to the
understanding of the knowledge of Jesus Christ and his unfathomable love
towards the people irrespective of status, class, origin, race and ethnicity.
He currently has 2 recorded works and they are available for download at

This project
is a 21st century evangelism strategy envisioned by the convener by
bringing captivating and interesting melodies to the streets, thereby getting
them to listen and hear the spirit of God speak to them. Sound, whether good or
horrible, attracts attention. An Interesting sound attracts a positive vibe to
any gathering and therefore gets the audience listening and that’s the main
essence of this project. With this, the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ can be
preached to our generation starting from the grassroots and gradually pushing
it to every part of the country and beyond. Hopefully, with time other
religious entities can key into this movement and join in helping the vision
become an expansive thing.
